Ok So what are Amino Acids?

Basically your  body breaks down the protein you get from foods into amino acids, which get recombined to create the specific types of proteins that your body requires.(Each cellin your body produces exactly the right combination it needs.)Two different types of amino acids: non-essential and essential. The body produces nonessential amino acids, but  essential amino acids we get from foods we eat. List of nonessential amino acids include; alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, proline, serine, taurine, and tyrosine.  List of essential amino acids ; histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine.

What Do Aminos Do?

Amino acids are known as building blocks of protein and also muscle tissue. And they also play a major part in physiological processes relating to our energy, recovery, mood, brain function, muscle and strength gains, and also in our quest for fat loss. Aminos help in production of hormones and neurotransmitters . Missing any amino can seriously effect your health , which happens when you have a poor diet, trauma, different medications, age, or even a chemical imbalances within the body.  Amino acid supplements aid  deficiencies and can also be taken therapeutically.

When using any individual amino acid for longer than one month, it’s a good idea to  mix with amino acid complex,  that contains a variety of amino acids, to insure  you get balanced amounts of all the amino acids. Amino acid supplements are more effective when they don’t have to compete with the amino acids in foods. You shouldn’t use single aminos longer than three months, unless you are under the supervision of a doctor.

Are there Side Effects?

Amino acid supplements have no side effects as long as they are taken in the recommended amounts. High doses of certain amino acids can be toxic and produce nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
