MuscleTech Amino Build 2013 Review

(Last Updated On: 01/02/2017)

New Amino Build is a superior pre, intra, and post-workout complex delivering a massive 8g of 100% free-form 2:1:1 BCAA matrix to help fuel skeletal muscles, preserve muscle glycogen stores and reduce protein breakdown. Granted that you need to take to scoops to get the effect mentioned. The free form amino acids are quickly digested and absorbed by your bloodstream.

Amino Build has it all, the revitalization kick, the refueling, and the semi-immediate recovery. Muscletech does direct you to use 2 scoops, you actually don’t need 2 to get those three effects. Believe it or not, 1 will do just fine. The difference between a single and a double is really difficult to notice. If anything it seemed to have the best performance increase from 1 to 1.5. Anything more was a bit of an overkill and had no real change in it’s effectiveness. I was impressed with the effect from this supplement enough to write a review as soon as I was done taking it. It won’t give you the 40% strength like the label says, but the ingredient profile it does have works great for anytime during training.

Amino Build Highlights:
>8g BCAA with 4g Leucine, 2.5g Bataine, 0 sugar
>Mixed up very well.
>Taste was a bit off – had a sort of “medicine” after taste.
>Contains glutamine and citrulline.

At first it taste it good, but after time went on it seemed to develop a medicine/metallic taste at the end of the container. Nothing I can’t handle but that was noticeable, tastes like fruit punch, overall no issue with taste.

Mixed great, no left overs or any chalky aftertaste. I usually mixed it in a cup, but I have triedwith a spoon and it works great. It does get foamy but that’s never an issue for me.

I have noticed an amazing improvement on my physique since I have begun taking this product. I was taking it intra-workout and right after for recovery. Felt more energy throughout my workout, I got more reps in, but the the 40% strength the labels claims. If you know your BCAAs you know that they are key to your recovery. With this I pushed myself to the limit and recovered way quicker compared to some other products I too before. Didn’t feel as sore after leg day! Big Plus there! On my days off I drink it in the morning when I wake up just to ensure my body is getting what it needs. The pump and energy this product gives me is amazing and I have also noticed a huge difference in how vascular I am especially during and right after my workout.

Depending where you get it, it’s under 30$ for 30 servings. In my book for a quality this good, I don’t mind paying.

Overall I like Amino Build as a great non-stimulated amino product that offers flexibility. It can be used pre, intra or post workout. I like how it mixes easily and dissolves well in water. The taste and flavour and great and has no bitterness. the key ingredients have been scientifically studied so you know you’re getting what you need. I would put this up there with Xtend and Monster Amino. I recommend giving it a try.
